Hey Gang! It’s been a while since I’ve blogged – I missed you all!
I would also like to add that I’ve appreciated the many emails and messages from some of you through various vehicles of communication! I love keeping in touch with you all, even when my blog was MIA. 🙂
Tim and I decided to step up our game the past half year or so – hence the hiatus from my blogger blog – (which will now be considered retired). I hope you will all add this blog to your reader and blog roll, and feel free to delete my old one!
So, what have I been up to?
Well, we have been working really hard at growing Staggs Fitness, and I’m proud to say it is standing on it’s own! Tim is doing it full time now and he’s working harder than ever and it shows. He likes being his own boss, and because of his work ethic, we are still able to pay the bills and have a roof over our heads 🙂
I took the first part of 2011 to make some changes with myself, both emotionally and physically! I’ve been busier than ever at my day job (yep, still at the hospital) and also changed my physique a bit here and there – some bought, some earned. 🙂
If you’ve been following along on my Facebook and over at Siouxcountry, you’re aware that I’ve done 2 national level shows this year with Tim. One show – Jr. USA’s in Charleston – though I felt I looked great, I didn’t do so hot in the callouts. Three weeks later with a few tweaks to the posing and a change of the suit and I was added to the first call out in Chicago at Jr. Nats! I didn’t end up placing, but I FINALLY got over that stage anxiety and really brought it. I am happy to say that was my personal best.
I’m still going to be journaling over at SiouxCountry, I love that site and the people there – but this blog is going to be my home, too!
I want my previous blog feel and friends to come this way. I’ll be entering my random thoughts, musings about the exciting life I lead (<—–sarcasm 🙂 , my plans for competing, keeping up with recipies for ya’ll, and of course the occasional Petey pic 🙂
