We recently spotted (and snatched up without much thought) Hungry Girl’s newest book – “300 Under 300.” It’s just what the title says – 300 dishes (breakfast, lunch & dinner) all under 300 calories per serving. This is Follow up to her book “200 Under 200” which we like – but this book is better in our opinion! More nutritional value, and more hearty recipes sure to silence the roar in a grumbling belly!
Becca is a huge tuna fan, and somewhat lazy in the kitchen so a lot of ingredients or prep time is not her style! 🙂 Soooo, today we are sharing “Broc ‘n Ginger Tuna Bowl” – p. 462

Infuse your tun with some snazziness and ginger-y fun!
You will need:
A microwave safe bowl
Prep: 5 min
Cook: 5 min
Per Serving: (entire recipe):
270 calories, 5g fat, 930mg sodium, 23g carbs, 7g fiber, 8.5g sugars, 36.5g protein
3 cups broccoli florets
One 5 oz. can albacore tuna packed in water, drained and flaked
2 Tablespoons low-fat sesame ginger dressing
Put broccoli in a microwave-safe bowl with 2 tablespoons water. Cover and microwave until slightly softened, 2 1/2 to 3 minutes.
Once cool enough to handle, drain excess liquid. Add tuna and dressing Toss to mix. Enjoy warm or chilled!
